Our beautifully simple marble plates bear the marks of the craftsman who carved each one. Â There are tool marks and makers marks evident on the surface of each plate. Â Although each one is predominantly white, some have a slight colour to them (gray to cream and ochre tones are evident on some plates).
Made from a single piece of solid stone every one is unique. Â Although they these plates would normally be used as decorative item, they are perfectly suitable for serving dried food. We would suggest that you line the plate with greaseproof paper or parchment before serving oily food such as cheese.
