Our Vintage Rustic Breadboard | Baptiste is entirely unique in character and patina. Â A wonderful decorative antique, entirely imperfect and irregular with signs of age, wear, and a unique weathered patina.
Each board is unique and has marks of historic use of over 100 years in a busy kitchen – they really do proudly show their age. They are often hewn from one piece of timber and sometimes have visible copper mending patches.
All our boards are made from mixed timbers. They are a very rustic decorative item, entirely unrestored, with a very rustic aesthetic. They often have cracks, irregular imperfections and patch repairs to their beautifully rustic surface.
Our boards look wonderful hanging from a wall or placed leant on a shelf in a kitchen, pantry, or utility room. Or you could choose to hang a selection of these boards to make a gallery wall in the kitchen.
You will probably use your board as a decorative item however, you could scrub and oil it and make it very practical for serving food.
