These chairs are only sold as a pair and can not be separated.

Antique pair of deconstructed chairs | Ines is an authentic original antique item. A beautiful Antique French armchair with a deconstructed look from the late 1800s to early 1900s.

The removed upholstery now reveals the fabulously chic timber construction and vintage stitching. The chair’s construction is fully revealed at the back, and the front features the exposed horsehair interior.

The carefully stripped back seat material reveals the original burlap hessian/calico seat lining. This chair also has a separate softly striped seat cushion.

These occasional Bergere chairs have a modern rustic look.  As a result of their stripped-back appeal, they look fabulous in a country house or modern apartment.  Beautiful in a bedroom, bathroom, living room or study. Fabulous as a bedroom or fireside chair.  Add a sheepskin throw and cushion for an extra layer of luxury.

Due to being hand-stitched and traditionally upholstered, you can still see the original upholstery pins.  These Antique French armchairs are now the ultimate decorative antique. Elegant original timber legs to the front and simple legs to the rear.

These items have all had a previous life and, in most cases, the condition will show signs of age with wear and tear including scuffs and scratches.

They look fabulous kept as they are or re-upholstered, but we love them just as they are.

Courier Delivery

Delivery will take place via door-to-door courier as this item is too large and heavy or fragile to be delivered in a parcel by any of the UK parcel providers.

This service is undertaken by a one man delivery service.

Please be prepared to help to move the item from the van to just inside your door. When delivery takes place it will be to just inside the threshold of your home only.  The courier will not be able to carry the furniture up or down multiple steps to access your property.

You will need to supply a strong helper to assist on the day of delivery.

After the courier has left you will need to remove the item from its packaging when present and carry it from your doorway into your home or garden.

Delivery is added at the checkout – you will be able to view this charge before you pay.
