Large earthenware jug Ambre

A wonderful large earthenware jug, Ambre has a lovely rotund shape and a beautiful subtle matt glaze.  Originally used to store valuable oils, these vessels are entirely handmade and are very collectable.

These lovely antique jugs are very sculptural and are ideal for holding seasonal branches or flowers.

A truly unique stand alone piece, they are perfect on a console table, a kitchen counter, and would also be fabulous displayed on a shelf or mantlepiece of your home.

These jugs are entirely unique and therefore there are never two of the same available. Perfectly imperfect, please expect an imperfect condition, some cracks, repairs and chips. These were never created as fine pottery pieces, and were handcrafted to store and carry precious supplies of drink and liquids such as olive oil.
