Vintage Moroccon Tamegroute Green Vase – One Unit

This type of green glazed pottery is made in Tamegroute, a small village in Morocco . The formula and technique of glazing are a closely guarded secret held by the same few families who have produced this fabulous pottery for many generations.

Each piece is unique in colour and patina.  These items are unique and the glaze is imperfect.

Due to the pieces all being handmade, each one is unique, the colour and shape similar but never exactly the same. Except for a few ochre shades, a green glaze is the dominant colour in pottery from Tamegroute.  Furthermore, the ancient techniques give the glaze infinite variations.

The single pot you purchase will be selected at random from our stock. This is a vintage item and is perfectly imperfect.
