Originally used in the South of France by oyster farmers.  Used as an incubating site for oyster spat to attach and then grow larger for cultivating.

Made of solid wood, these gorgeous vintage pieces are a fantastic decorative piece.  They look amazing either attached to a wall or placed into a large pot or urn.
