A charming and original item, this unique antique bench has all the wonderful characteristics you would expect from timber that is over a hundred years old. Wonderfully soft, tactile and smooth to the touch, its lovely weathered appearance features cracks, knots and rustic details that in our opinion only make it more lovely.  The timbers have been carefully sanded in a way that still allows the age of the timbers to be revealed. Imperfections and historic marks are not sanded from the surface and are left on show to celebrate the age of this item.  

Please, therefore, expect rustic imperfections and weathered details and surface features to bear the marks of the passage of time. Please refer to all the additional images of the bench for details.
