Glazed decorative vase | indigo print

A lovely large vase for fresh flowers or dried stems.  It’s also a really beautiful object when empty, it’s one that stays out on display year round in our homes.

The gray terracotta has be glazed with a gray to blue colour motif reminiscent of wood block printing onto fabric in design.

As terracotta can become porous if chipped we’d recommend testing your pot with water inside before leaving on a precious table top which could be damaged or simply line the vase with a cylindrical drinking glass before using filled with water.  Having said this the inside of the pot is glazed and is generally waterproof.

The glaze is irregular and has a crackle to it making it look aged and worn.
