A very old Dakari stool from Burkina Faso in Africa.

Used for ceremonial and family gatherings as well as in the hut for seating and cooking.

Each of our unique stools is made from one solid piece of hardwood and was made by the householder from gathered fallen trees.

A charming and unique decorative antique for your uniquely stylish home.

These items are so beautiful they can be used as an ornament in their own right but they are certainly strong enough to be used as a stool if you wish to make practical use of them.

This item has a top that is slanted. This would make it difficult to store things on top. We would recommend using this particular stool as a more sculptural item.
