A very old old Dakari stool from from Burkina Faso in Africa.

Used for ceremonial and family gatherings as well as in the hut for seating and cooking.

Each of our unique stools are made from one solid piece of hardwood and were made by the householder from gathered fallen trees.

A charming and unique decorative antique for your uniquely stylish home.

These items are so beautiful they can be used as an ornament in their own right but they are certainly strong enough to be used as a stool if you wish to make practical use of them.

This item is over 100 years old and has a lovely rustic patina with perfectly imperfect imperfections to be expected of a piece of this heritage.
