This beautiful antique item is over 100 years old. An amazing piece of furniture, it has been lovingly and expertly restored with its timber sanded and then waxed to give a smooth tactile finish. This unique item’s patina is exquisite. The fabulous characterful timbers have been stripped back by hand, to allow the age and beauty of the wood to show through.
Please do not expect this piece to be perfect, as with any antique there are signs of its historical use. Fully restored but with a clear focus on retaining the original aesthetic, we feel the rustic wood finish adds to its character. Minor variations and imperfections are therefore to be expected and embraced.
