Antique French Wooden Dairy Bowl

A delightful hand made bowl turned 100 years ago on a foot operated pole and treadle lathe.   These bowls were used to beat cream in the dairy to make butter using nothing more than a wooden spoon (also available in a separate listing)

We have two available and they are each unique from one another.  Each one has unique cracks, markings and signs of the passage of time.  They have been polished with beeswax and lightly sanded so are beautifully smooth and tactile to touch.  Please do not expect a perfect item, this is a much-loved antique.

They look fantastic empty with just a spoon but can be used for fruit or vegetables.
