Our Antique Painted Sideboard Wallace is a truly stunning statement piece. An original antique, it is over 100 years old. This unique item’s patina is exquisite, lightly distressed to reveal pale timber below its original paintwork. The fabulous pale timbers have been stripped back by hand, to allow the wood to show through. The remains of the original paint still feature – part of its vintage appeal.

This item is an original antique piece of furniture over 100 years old made from solid elm timbers.

Each of our antique cabinets and sideboards has a rustic finish but also clean lines and the modern rustic feel that we love at Home Barn.

This sideboard is a fabulous size with bags of storage and internal shelves.  A perfect solution to store many items within the home. We think this would make an excellent sideboard, dresser or island.

Please do not expect this piece to be perfect, as with any antique there are signs of its historical use. This sideboard is fully restored but with a clear focus on retaining the original aesthetic. We feel the rustic wood finish adds to its character. Minor variations and imperfections are therefore to be expected and embraced.
