Description
Antique Wooden Dough Bowl | Leonie
Dating from the early 1900’s dough bowls were used across Europe to knead up and prove bread dough. Â They can still be used as such but we think of them as a decorative item. They look super stylish on a table, loaded with fruit or vegetables, but also suit magazines, hand towels in a bathroom or books on a coffee table. Â Even empty these super stylish decorative antiques are beautiful. Â Generally time worn with signs of use and age, please expect imperfections, irregular patina and historic woodworm holes in some items. Â The imperfections are the essence of their beauty. Â A truly original antique, totally home made and one-of-a-kind
The bowls are hand carved from a solid tree trunk in once piece using scoops and chisels.
