FRAMED CYANOPRINTS | BOTANICAL ARTWORK No: 10
The Cyanoprints are by artist Kate Mullock.
The process of cyan printing uses light-sensitive liquid on textured paper, when exposed to light the liquid turns blue, whilst areas shielded by a botanical stay white. A beautiful spectrum of rich blues from deep indigo, cobalt and navy through to paler blues and grey/greens mix and merge in a painterly almost watercolour style.
The paper is a rough-edged recycled cotton rag (khadi) ethically sourced from India.
Each print is unique never to be repeated original.
Our frames are made from two pieces of glass, the botanical sits between each piece of glass and so you can see your wall colour through the glass which is not occurred by the picture.
