Dating from the early 1900’s dough bowls were used across Asia to knead up and prove bread dough. They can still be used as such but we think of them as a decorative item. They look super stylish on a table, loaded with fruit or vegetables, but also suit magazines, hand towels in a bathroom, or books on a coffee table. Even empty these super stylish decorative antiques are beautiful. Generally, time-worn with signs of use and age, please expect imperfections, irregular patina, and historic woodworm holes in some items. The imperfections are the essence of their beauty.
