When we saw this box we just loved the totally unique layers of peeling paintwork.  Then we opened the lid and found inside a haul of perfectly patinated rustic canisters.  Found in the Loire valley, France.

The box itself is in very rustic condition and is purely a decorative item whose paintwork takes center stage.  The paintwork is flakey and the timbers is very worn. The lovely cans could stay inside or be removed as they are lovely decorative antiques in their own right.  This box and contents date from the early 1900s.

It’s very heavy indeed and would need to be delivered on a small pallet or collected from Homebarn.  If you are local then please feel free to contact us with a delivery address and postcode and we can ask our local couriers for a door to door quote.
