A wonderful pair of Antique oak window mirrors. These solid oak windows have been salvaged from a French townhouse and transformed into a pair of window mirrors. Featuring the original hardware, these fabulous frames still have the remains of the original flaking paintwork – part of their vintage appeal.

Dating from the early to mid-1900s, this unique piece of architectural salvage is totally authentic and original.

Window mirrors serve to add light to a room and will give the illusion of an extra external window to your room, creating the impression of extra space within your home. Alternatively, a window mirror reflecting a beautiful view can create the impression of a painting on a wall.

Window mirrors look fabulous in any room, and are especially striking in hallways and bathrooms. They are suitable for all interiors – industrial, rustic, country or contemporary interiors.

These mirrors are also frequently used outdoors on covered patio areas to create the illusion of a ‘view’ across the garden. As these were originally windows and therefore used with one side facing the elements, they are perfectly suitable for outdoors. However, you may wish to treat them every few years.

Our mirrors are not backed with timber which helps to keep the weight down, and the mirror glass is newly fitted. The mirror does not come with fixings, so you will need to add your own fittings.

Our antique window mirrors have all the wonderful characteristics you would expect from ancient timber. Imperfections and historic marks are not sanded from the surface but left on show to celebrate the age of this item. Please, therefore, expect rustic imperfections, weathered details and surface features to bear the marks of the passage of time. Delivery – important information

Delivery will take place via door-to-door courier as this item is too large and heavy to be delivered in a parcel by any of the UK parcel providers.

When delivery takes place, it will be inside the threshold of your home only. This service is undertaken by a one-man delivery service. The courier will not be able to carry the furniture up or down multiple steps to access your property.

Please be prepared to help the courier to move the item from the van to just inside your door. You will need to supply a strong helper to assist on the day of delivery.

After the courier has left, you will also need to remove the item from its packaging and carry it from your doorway into your home or garden.
