Our stunning Vintage French Door Mirror | Quentine is a gorgeous piece of antique architectural salvage. Each of the window panels has been glazed individually with mirror panes. Â Solid timber frames, weathered paintwork and original ironmongery add to the charm of this rustic piece of furniture.
This mirror would have originally been used as an external door or window and so could be used inside your home or in the garden to add extra light. Â At least 100 years old this item is weathered and perfectly imperfect.
Each of our solid timber windows has been salvaged from a French farmhouse and transformed into a unique window mirror. Â The timber is beautifully patinated and naturally aged by the elements. The original paintwork in layers is beautifully weathered. aesthetic.
This unique piece of architectural salvage is totally authentic and original. Â Dating from the late 1800s to the early 1900s.
Window mirrors serve to add light to a room and give the illusion of an extra external window, creating the impression of extra space within your home.
Frequently used outdoors on covered patio areas to create the illusion of a ‘view’ across the garden. As these were originally windows and therefore used with one side facing the elements they are perfectly suitable for outdoors but you may wish to treat them every few years.
