Reclaimed Chest of drawers | Bramhope

Our fabulous reclaimed chest of drawers is a truly stunning statement piece. This unique item’s patina is exquisite and lightly distressed to reveal pale timber below its original paintwork. The fabulous pale timbers have been stripped back by hand, to allow the wood to show through. The remains of the original paint still feature on the wood – part of its vintage appeal.

Each of our unique cabinets and sideboards has a rustic finish but also clean lines and the modern rustic feel that we love at Home Barn.

This cabinet is a fabulous size and is perfect for a hallway – the eight deep drawers offer bags of storage.  A perfect solution for storing many items within the home.

Please do not expect this piece to be perfect, there are signs of its historical use. This sideboard is fully restored but with a clear focus on retaining the original aesthetic. We feel the rustic wood finish adds to its character. Minor variations and imperfections are therefore to be expected and embraced.

Delivery – important information

Delivery will take place via a door-to-door courier because this item is too large and heavy to be delivered in a parcel by any of the UK parcel providers.

When delivery takes place, it will be inside the threshold of your home only. A one-man delivery service undertakes this service. However the courier will not be able to carry the furniture up or down multiple steps to access your property.

Please, therefore, be prepared to help the courier move the item from the van to just inside your door. You will ideally need to supply a strong helper to assist on the day of delivery.

After the courier has left, you will also need to remove the item from its packaging and carry it from your doorway into your home or garden.
